Reporting to the BU Quality Manager, the Supplier Quality Technician is responsible for coordinating and carrying out quality monitoring and inspection activities and supporting suppliers in continuous improvement processes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the proper functioning and management of the process of identifying products and services to be monitored;
- Check upstream of the production need that the products under surveillance meet the specified requirements (First Article Inspections - FAI);
- Carry out inspection missions at suppliers (prior to deliveries) and quality checks upon receipt of parts at Cameca;
- Monitor the lifting of reservations and pronounce the final acceptance of the products;
- Process supplier exemption requests;
- Ensure the processing of product non-conformities (curative and corrective);
- Carry out supplier and internal quality audits;
- Lead problem-solving meetings (internally or externally with suppliers);
- Manage supplier quality action plans and monitor performance indicators.
DIPLOMA & EXPERIENCE
- Bac +2 or +3 level diploma in mechanical engineering;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality technician position.
PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED & ABILITIES
- English level: B2;
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and ability to use an ERP;
