As an Assembly & Test Technician here at CAMECA, you will be responsible for complex assembly and test operations on optical, electrical, and electromechanical sub assemblies. All assembles will require that you follow specific protocols for safely working with precision optical and ultra-high vacuum assembly systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform complex assembly and test operations on optical, electrical, electronic, and electromechanical subassemblies.
- Follow protocols appropriate for precision optical and ultra-high vacuum assembly.
- Execute calibration and quality control procedures.
- Contribute where needed on a wide range of day-to-day tasks.
- Maintain records and logs.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams and to follow standard operating procedures.
- Capable of lifting up-to 40 lbs.
- Associates degree or higher in electronics or related field, military electronics training plus work experience.
- 5 – 7 years relevant experience with complex electromechanical or high vacuum systems (e.g., SEM, TEM, semiconductor fab tools, etc.).
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and write work instructions and procedures in English
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to give written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
