As an Event Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our presence at trade shows and industry events, showcasing Zygo’s expertise and innovation on a global stage. Your leadership will drive each event from concept to completion, creating unforgettable experiences that highlight our commitment to precision and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a calendar of domestic and international events across business units
- Planning booth layout, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing logistics
- Handling exhibit space reservations and show-specific requirements
- Collaborating with sales, service, and marketing teams on event strategy and messaging
- Overseeing project timelines to ensure timely deliveries
- Managing attendee logistics, including travel and accommodations
- Promoting events via social media, email, and advertising
- Tracking event metrics, driving lead capture, and ensuring effective follow-up
Required Skills
- Expertise in event planning and management, with experience in both domestic and international trade shows.
- Proficient in project management tools, such as Monday.com, to ensure seamless planning and execution.
- Skilled in vendor coordination, budget management, contract negotiation, and logistical oversight.
- Strong communicator with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in social media, email marketing platforms, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to enhance event outreach and engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Hospitality, Marketing Communications, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience managing trade shows and corporate events.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).
- Ability to work and travel on weekends as necessary.
- Travel requirement: 25-35%
